Q:
Hi Paul, I am currently in my last year at school in England and am studying Sports Science. We have to do a piece of coursework called a Development Plan and for it I am trying to improve my CV fitness for the 7s part of the game. I was wondering if you had any statistics on how much distance a 7splayer covers in a match?
Loving the website by the way and good luck for HK this weekend
Q:
Hi Paul. Fantastic website. We met again briefly at the HK 7's. I have picked up two aspects that worry me, and I would appreciate your opinion: -
- Why do we consistantly kick to touch when we get a penalty? Surely this wastes time, and we have the chance of losing the ball (as happened against Fiji, which cost us the game)
- I am not sure why Cecil Afrika must drink water before he kicks for poles. Surely this also wastes time?

Q:
Hi Paul, great website and its great you are reaching out to 7's Fans. I currently coach a national womens side, and while we probably wont make the main irb 7's for another few years I am trying to get a core 7's skills setup so that we can achieve greater result in this years regional champs.
We are in the Cayman Islands, and so play teams like Guyana and Jamaica, in fact you may well face our mens team as they are improving more and more and were unlucky to not face Guyana for the chance to be in Vegas. Anyway, my question is if you have any 7's style skills and such I would be greatful
to hear from you. The Fiji pool game was tough in vegas as was the Kiwi game...both of which could have gone either way!
All the best for the rest of the IRB series.

Q:
Hi Paul, don't have any details on new players you brought in... how much speed do they have compared to the guys who have left?
See you in HKG!

Q:
Now that our 7's team has been ravaged by injury and indiscipline where will you look for new talent? Do you have scouts that invite players to training camps or trials? If so, how does one get a shot at showing you their worth? Im 20 years old, run 11 secs dead for the 100m and play outside
centre in the 15 man game but prefer 7's.
