In 1988 Gavin gained a H.D.E. in education in Cape Town and qualified as a school teacher. After 6 years in education Gavin left teaching and entered the ministry where he was sent to Durban from Cape Town to start both a church and Bible School from scratch. In 2004 he returned to Cape Town to work as a senior elder in the 4000 member Cape Town congregation. After a further 3 years he left this congregation to establish what had slowly become his dream, the Anything Is Possible Foundation. This Foundation exists to help people find and live their dream. His background in education, working with people and leadership uniquely qualifies him to help people find their purpose in life. Gavin now works full time as a motivational speaker, relationship consultant and life coach.

For Michael Johnson, winning the 200m and 400m Olympic gold, was the culmination of more than 10 years of dreaming, sweating, working and training. The world watched as he crossed the finish line first in both events. The world listened as he spoke to the media. The world looked as he appeared on T.V. nearly every day. How do you write a vision for your life?
In the last article I showed you how to identify which desires are purpose related and which are not. We also said that your purpose in life is found in your heads, in the form of deep desires. We focused on how to quieten your mind in order to recognise which desires really live in our minds. In this article I want to focus on one way you can capture your deep desires and translate them into a written vision for your life.
